Minimum contractor requirements
To protect our clients, residents and contractor partners, companies wishing to work with Millennium Management Limited should be able to demonstrate the following as a minimum:
- At least £2 million Public Liability and Employers’ Liability insurance from an authorised insurer.
- Compliance with current health and safety legislation and relevant HSE guidance.
- Membership of an appropriate trade or professional accreditation scheme.
- Up to three years of company accounts, where available for the age of the business.
- Relevant case studies, references or examples of comparable completed work.
- Current generic risk assessments and method statements.
- Evidence of employee competence, training and any role-specific certification.
- Suitable safeguarding, data protection and site conduct procedures where applicable.
Working with our property team
Reliable reporting and administration are as important as the work itself. Approved contractors are expected to:
- Provide a detailed attendance report on headed paper within 24 hours, including photographs or video where appropriate.
- Submit invoices within five working days of completing the work.
- Provide an agreed schedule or rate card for the services offered.
- Issue quotations and reports to the relevant Millennium contact within 48 hours of attendance unless otherwise agreed.
- Keep contact details for engineers, supervisors and senior management up to date.
- Communicate delays, access issues, safety concerns and changes in scope promptly.
These standards are a baseline and are not exhaustive. Additional checks may be required depending on the property, risk level and type of work.
